London, Mar. 31. Undeterred by last week's Mau Mau massacre of loyal Africans 25 miles from Nairobi, the British and Kenya governments remain determined to stamp out terrorism and restore peace, Mr Oliver Lyttelton, the Colonial Secretary, assured the House of Commons tonight.
He was replying to an emergency, debate called by the Opposition to discuss the massacre.
Mr Reginald Paget, Labour, who was the prime mover in getting the debate, suggested suspending the Kenya Constitution, forming a stronger government and transferring General Templer from Malaya to Kenya.
