Evidence of instructions received from the defendant for plans for certain buildings which the defendant wished to have erected was given by an architect's assistant before Mr Justice E. H. Williams, Senior Puisne Judge, in the Supreme Court this morning, when hearing of a · claim for payment for professional services, brought by Antonio Hen- rique Basto, authorised architect, surveyor and engineer, of Prince's Building, was continued.
Basto claimed $93,784, representing architect's fees for pro- fessional services rendered in connection with plans for Inland Lot No. 1743 in Des Voeux Road West, and for reasonable remuneration for similar services in respect to plans for Inland Lot No. 1408 in Yee Wo Street, East Point.
Defendant was Llu Po-san, merchant of 128 Wing Lok Street West.
