Winding-Up Order Against Ching Siong Language Land Investment Co.

"I am satisfied that it would be very unjust and inequitable to leave the administration of the Company in the hands of Kwik Siang-go," declared Mr Justice Reece in the Supreme Court this morning, when, in a lengthy written judgment, he ordered the winding-up of the Ching Siong Land Investment Co. Ltd., which is associated with Luna Park.

The Judge also declared that there was the undented statement that Kwik Slang-go, Managing Director of the Company, had misappropriated large sums belonging to the Company; that he had issued the Company's cheque to pay his own personal debts and that the cheque was dishonoured; that he had failed to call regular general meetings of the Company, had not presented balance sheets, and in every way dealt with the affairs of the Company as it were his own private property.
