Sydney, Jan. 3. The Australian Rugby Union team to tour South Africa, and Ceylan Inter this year will be chosen after trial games which have been arranged for May 9.
The team will leave for South Afriga on June 10, according in an announcement to-day. Inter in the year, they will make a seven weeks tour of Ceylan. While, there they will oppose teams from Singapore and Hongkong

Could it be that those mandarins of sport, the League clubs, sometimes wave a big stick at young amateur footballers whose toe-talents capture their imaginations? And could it be that even Arsenal, the Caesar's wife of soccer, have become involved in one such better-it-had-never-happened incident?
I ask these questions after hearing a mighty queer utory from Sussex concern- ing Fred Kingshot, a 22-year-old amateur goalkeeper, who joined Eastbourne United, Arsenal "nursery." from West Ham at the start of last season.
