A great gathering of Buddhists at Sanchi, near Bhopal, saw the reinstallation of the sacred relics of Barputta and Mozzaliana, the Buddha's chief disciples, in a newly-erected temple on the site where they were discovered by General Cunningham over 100 years ago.
