NEW THRILLER

IL is just over half a century since E. F. Benson wrote his novel "The Luck of the Valls". This inte-Victorian thriller had just about everything to appeal

'day's to the reader of those

cryptic golden goblet bearing a worning; a mysterious stranger to the to be related claiming young hero: flood and tempest: attempts on

the hero's life:

Hai | detective work that finally runs the mad villain to earth; a setung of blue biced and stately homes. "The Lack of the Vails" in fact, was one of E. F. Benson's big

SUCCESSES.

Now Lester Powell has turned it into a serial play for radio, and Radlo Hongkong is broadcasting the first of the six half-hour on Sunday night at episodes half-past-seven.

FEATURES "The Taste of Youth" at 10.15 op Friday night will undoubtedly raise a wide variety at feelings In a wider variety of people, but the overriding sense will be ore of nostalgia for this is reminiscence of life at a British Public School.
