WAHOOS AND DODGERS THE ONLY UNBEATEN TEAMS IN THE SOFTBALL LEAGUE
By "KEYSTONE”
With regular League play. fast approaching the half-way mark, only two teams in the Softball League's four divisions retain unbeaten re- cords.
In the Ladies' Division, the Old Champion Wahoos have defeated every other team in the circuit, including their old rivals the Squaws.
The Owls hid fair to complete their regular game schedule without a single lous, as the only serious opposition they could expect in the second, round of play would logically be put up by the Squaws who, however, are being plagued with player losses,
Actually, although they have Lwo defools against their record, the Squaws are the only outfit able to clip the soaring wings of the Wahoo Owls, and it would be a pity if this team of fine players were to permit relatively minur issues

Cardiff Have A Grand Fighting Spirit But Need A Schemer
By DENNIS
HART
When Cardiff City gained promotion to the First Division last sea- son, there was jubilation in Wales. It was an event which the men of the 'Land of My Fathers” had awaited since 1929 · when the City were relegated.
But the rejoicings were tinged with anxiety. How would the teara fare? Could they stand the pace of the First Division? And what about that away record? These questions cast shadows across the minds of even fervent supporters.
For Cardiff owed their promotion to a last minute slip in the race by Birming ham, and to a brilliant home record. Thirty-eight of the fifty-one points which enabled them to plp Birmingham on goal average came from the twenty-one home games.
They only won two of their away matches,

Tytam Display Good Early Form In "C" Division
By "ARGONAUT”
จ
Tytam displayed good early form in the Men's "C" Division Badminton League when they cleared their first hurdle yesterday by edging out Kowloon Tong by six sets to three.
Both teams are regarded among the top four in the division this year, and the match between them produced
a pleasingly high standard of badminton..
