Devonport. Nov. 13. Two New South Wales sailors, Ordinary Signalman D, G. Fin- layson and Ordinary Signalman L. H. Campbell, 'hoisted the Australion "Jock" to mark the handing over of the Royal Navy light carrier Vengeance to the Royal Australian Navy here today.

Britain has transferred Ven- geance to the Royal Australian Navy pending completion of a second Australian currier.

Two Australian sailors, drawn from various ships of their feet, exchanged their cap ribbons to Vengeance. The hoisting of the "Jack" was the only" côremony today.

A ceremonial transfer will be held early in January.
