This designer has found the #hawer to this with a simple, ebenp, collector's box that you can easily make at home.
All you need are two sheets of 14. by alns. by 3ft. balsa wood; one sheet of transparent paper Sins, wide and 14ins, long; a lube of balsa cement; and a strip of tape in. wide and 131⁄2ios. long.
Mark and cut the first sheet of balsa as shown in Fig. 1. Glue sides 1, 2, 3, and 4 together to form an oblong box. While
this is drying, you can cut the
second sheet, as in Fig. 2.
Glue the two bottom sections together, side by alde, so as to nake the bottom of your box ana. wide and 13ins. long. Now glue this into the bottom of the side-pieces, making sure is flush all round and securely cemented.
Leave this to dry and make the frames as shown in Fig. 3. separate You will need two
frames. You must cut the strips in wide. Each frame will re- quire two strips 14ina. long and Aileen two sins. long. Cement together as in the illustration.
Next, glue the transparent paper between the two frames, making a sort of sandwich. would be wise to put a heavy complete frame book on the Hong Kong while it is drying to keep it in
place.
