OLYMPIC GAMES SUMMARIES High & Low Hurdles
There were no surprises in either of the two hurdling events at the Olympic Games. In the High Hurdles, It wax thought possible that one of the Australians might break Into the Medal-winning trię, but that was not to be, Kocourek of Argentina and Anderson of Cuba, who did so well at the Pan-American Games last year, were both surprisingly eliminated in the first round of the "highs".

The Low Hurdles Anal was vory much un forecast. John Holland of New Zealand did nor worse than neither, better he had at home and that was good enough for third place.
Julin of Russia, was the only surprise Analist. The British Captain, Harry
