India's jute goods manufacturing industry, en- couraged by its dominance of world markets and by the recent closer co-operation of the Government, is planning to regain markets which have been lost to substitutes in the past two years.

Plans are now complete for a $100,000 publicity cam- paign in North America, aimed at regaining customers there who have turned to substitutes.
