On Monday night, at 9.30, Radio Hongkong" has pleasure in broadcasting for the first time a concert by the Sino-British Orchestra of Hong-1 kotig. This also marks the first occasion on which the Concert Hall in the station's premises at Electra House Has been used for a performance

This enterprising group, which consists largely of amateur musicians who play for the love of music, was formed in 1947 under the dis- tinguished patronage of His Excellency the Governor, Sir Alexander Grantham, G.C.M.G. It is led by Alastair Blair-Kerr and on this occasion it will be conducted by Frederick Jackson.
