France would have to take a larger part in increasing the force, he

Spealeng in the National Assembly's debate on the military budget, M. Pleven said that at the end of this year France would have:
1.-010,000 soldiers under i arms, equal to 12 divisions.
2.-50,000 airmen, equal to 27 squadrons, an increase of 70 per cent.
3-13,500 sailors, an increasO of 24 per cent.
