Persia Submits Her Case
The Hague, June 9, When the International : Court resumed its sitting after lunch today to hear arguments in connection with the Court's jurisdic- tion over the Anglo-Iranian oil dispute, Dr Mohammed Mossadegh, who had ad- dressed the Court in the morning, did not attend and the Chamber was barely half filled.
Professor Henri Rolin, a Bel- gian authority on international law, continued with the pro- sentation of Persla's case, which is that the Anglo-Iranian issue doce not come within the com- pelence of the Court.
He submitted a very detailed Teylow of Persia's attitude towards its conditional accept- ance of the Court's jurisdiction.
He said that in two previous cases the Court had declared itself non-competent beenuse both parties had not accepted its Jurisdiction.
The Professor then examined the various ways in which the He Court acquires Jurisdiction. stressed that the Court need not deal with the intentions of the parties but only with the legality RESERVATIONS or otherwise of their acts.

The world food situation and the prospects for the near future is under review by the 18- nation Council of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation which is in conference here.
A report prepared by the FAO Headquarters told the Council delegates that the world's need for more food has not yet begun to be met.
