INTER-SCHOOL RECORDS SHOULD BE PROPERLY PUNCTURED THIS YEAR

By "RECORDER"

Over the past fortnight there has been an athletic meet some: where in the Colony practically every day of the week and the same situation will continue to exist for the next fortnight at least,

All the results are not yet to hand, though all have been promised, but it is daily becoming more difficult for the unimproving athlete to remain in the Colony's 10 best in his event.

The various school sports have shown a particularly high standard and Bor- vices athletes are finding it difficult to maintain their places in the ranking lists as more and more schoolboys creep into the sprints, middle distance, jumping and hurdling lists.

Queen's College seem to have their best team in years, though it is improbable that any school will present a serious challenge to La Salle at the Inter-School | Stephen Xavier (La Balle) Sports later this month,

Best performances by Colony athletes in January, February and March follow:

sprinters like Stephen With Xavier and Eddle Loureiro, middle distance runner like Lo Wing-chuen, a hurdler 1ke Den-. nis Collaco and jumper like George Thumb, Lu Sulle haven't much to worry about except the fact that they are presented
