WAS THE BEST
BEST OF THE WEEK-END'S PROGRAMME
Of the week-end's restricted League Hockey programme, the Police home match with the Navy turned out to be the most interesting. and exciting, Navy had six new faces in their team..
The Police looked as though, with luck, they might take one or both points, but this was not to be and Navy began to shake down and White, an impressive newcomer at inside-left, opened the scoring for Navy with a pretty goal.
The Police were still getting their share of the play, and soon after half-time there occurred an incident which changed the run of the game.
