New York, Jan, 21. The chief United States armistice negotiator in Korea, Vice-Admiral C, Turner Joy, declared in an interview published in this week's issue of United States News and World Report that the Communists did not want a stable and equitable armistice.
He added, however, that there was no doubt that the Communists desired an armistice of which they would dictate the terms. This kind of armistice could be concluded rapidly, Vice-Admiral Turner Joy con tinued.
