BRITAIN'S NOTE TO EGYPT

London, Jan, 21. The British Ambassador to Egypt, Sir Ralph Steven-- son, today handed a note to the Egyptian Foreign Minis- try refuting the Egyptian account of the incidents' which took place on Dec. 3 and 4 in the Suez Canal Zone.

An appendix accompanying the note said that post-mortems indicated that the bodies of a British soldier

eight and Maurians were muflated alter death and that a Major had been "brutally murdered."

The note emphasised that the "I disciplined" Egyptian Auxiliary Police Force played a prominent part in the incidents and did so in the belief that such conduct would be welcomed and endorsed by the Egyptian Government.
