Nicosia, Oct. 11. The acting Governor of Cyprus, Mr Fletcher Cooke, to- day refused request of the right-wing trades union group for a Greek labour delegation to attend the forthcoming Pan- Cyprian Labour Congress.
The Government, in declining La grant permits for the Greek delegation to come to the 4pland, said: "It is satisited that the proposed Congress was not in- tended as a genuine trade union conference but that it would be used for political purposes."
