Principal interest in today's games in the Colony Open Hardcourt Tennis Championships will be centred on the two Ladies' Singles zemi. finals at the Ladies' Recreation Club, and in particular in the match be tween Mr: Mary Chow and Mrs Diána Cooper.
Mr Chow, who won the title last year, has been showing improved form in her outings this season, and although expected to win today, will have to be at her best to stave off the bid of a dynamic Mrs Cooper.
The LRC player is the harder hitter and has the advantage of a good volley and a powerful backhand. An outside chance of an upset is indicated. ·
