observed from Battle of Britain Week September 10 to 16 is set aside for the special memory of the handful of young men of the Royal Air Force who died in the crucial battle for the "Island Fortress" against the Luftwaffe in 1940. The Air Officer Commanding, Hongkong, Air Com- modore D. W. Bonham-Carter, C.B., D.S.C., is giving a short talk over Radio Hongkong at 8.15 p.m. in Monday in which he recalls the Battle itselfde Orchestra; Royal Fireworks and tells something of the achievements and aimsirrer-atenuetia of the R.A.F. Benevolent Fund.

The story behind a very fine British picture is told in 'Picture Parade' at 8.30 this evening, and it is a particularly fitting film for the coming Battle of Britain Week. "The Wooden Horse," as many listeners will know, is the story of the fantastic escape of three British airmen from Stålag-Luft III at Sagan during the last war, via a tunnel dug from beneath a wooden vaulting- horse.
