markets Two of Britain's biggest potential rivals for world i Germany and Japan have concluded a commercial tresty providing for an exchange of goods by each country to the value of US$ 30 million.

This treaty is in two parts one signed by S.C.A.P.and the other by the Japanese Government to ensure that there is no break in the flow of trade between the two countries when the Japanese peace treaty is signed.

This news follows publication of the Economic Commission for Europe's Report which describes the rise in German exports and warns other countries of the serious economic consequences this could have.
