Predicts Settlement
Of Anglo-Iranian Oil Dispute PO B.I. E&A
Washington, May*20.
Ralph Follis, director of the Arabian American Oil Company, does not believe Russia can move any significant amount of oil out of the Middle East. However, he warned that in the event of war Russia might be able to deprive the West of Middle Eastern oil supplies.
In an interview published in the weekly magazinė "U.S, Newa nnel World Report," Mr Follis said the general impression was that Russia had not increased
its of supplies since the last war,
He also predicted that Iran, in its own self-interest, would come to terms with the Anglo- Iranian Oll Company, whose properties face nationalisation.

FUND TO
MAINTAIN WOOL PRICE
Canberra, May 21. Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom have agreed to set up a fund of 200,000,000 to pro- vent the price of wool from falling below an agreed level.
Australia's Commerce Minis- ter, Mr John McEwen, announc- ing the plan today, said that its purpose was to eliminate certain major declines in the market for wool.
▲ central authority composed of representatives of the parti- cipating countries would bo established in London to buy in wool for the Dominions.

The reserve price. set would not be changed during the sta- son, except in abnormal condi- tions, but it might be varied from season to season, he said.
Mr McEwen said that the Initial plan would have duration of five years. Wool would be marketed as at pre- sent, but a Government-backed buyer would attend auctions to bid at the reserve price i commercial buyers failed to do 50. The wool bought in by this buyer would be held for later sale.
