Syria today charged Israel with new viola- tions of the armistice agreement and accused the Tel-Aviv Government of hostile intentions against the demilitarised zone of the Huleh district.
The chief Syrian delegate, Mr Faris el Khouri, made the charges in a letter addressed to the President of the Security Council shortly before that UN organ convened here to continue the de- bate on the Palestine situation.
