OPEN VERDICT AT KOWLOON INQUEST
An open verdict of death was recorded by Mr Wicks, sitting as Coroner, at Kowloon this morning when he gave his findings of an inquest on a six year-old boy, Li Kai-hung, who died after being wounded in the head by a bullet fired from a .22 rifle last November.
Mr Wicks said that the owner of the rifle, which fired the fatal shot, Mr A. David, was negligent in that he failed to exercise sufficient con- trol over it and its ammunition.
