FUEL AND GENERAL PRICES MAY REQUIRE INCREASE IN CHARGES
Hongkong Electric Company may have to increase their charges if fuel and general prices are also raised, according to Mr J. D. Alexander, Chairman of the Board."
Mr Alexander, addressing the 58th Annual Meeting-of-Shareholders- this morning, added that the Company had made no less than eight reduc tions in rates since the war, but present indications tend to show that rates will have to be revised.
