But Arsenal May Work The
Double
Says PETER DITTON
With the draw for the third round of the FA Cup last week, the trek to Wembley has begun in earnest. All the First and Second Division giants are now concerned and they will do battle alongside the minnows who have survived the preliminary rounds of the competition, together with those Third Division clubs who have safely negotiated rounds one and two.
In these days the successful finalists can usually be found in the First Division. Occasionally, as two years ago when Leicester reached the Final, a Second Division side does cause a surprise.
tho But more often than not the superiority of higher class clubs is such that unless they are prevented by the draw from playing against Second Division sides they usually have the Final, and quite frequently the

NOT TOO SLIGHT Arsenal's chances of perform- ing this alusive "double" are, not by any means as slight as some people might imagine.
They have, in my opinion, a much more effective forward ling this season than they had last. The defence might not be quite so rock-like but it is still one of the best in the League
