BY J. T. STUD”

Let me begin by stating that the Saigon XV,. composed of 14 members selected from the French Army, Navy and Air Force and, one member from the Cercle Sportif, scored a really meritorious and do served win over the Hongkong squad.

The Salgon pack, although smaller, succeeded in shoving the Hongkong eight in the set scrums and were also superior in the lincouts. As a consequence their nippy threes were constantly on the attack.

The smaller and heavier ball was at times shuttled about with amazing speed and with all the Saigon påck backding each attack. Only starling tackling prevented a much heavier score.
