MP FAVOURS BOND OFFER
(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT)
London, Nov. 5.
The Conservative member of Parliament, Mr William Teeling, who is conducting the campaign to secure repayment of Japanese foreign debts, takes a favourable ylew of the Japanese offer to repay the debts in blocked yen.
The British Treasury, I understand, have ob- jected to this but Mr Teeling is hoping to recruit enough bond holders to his colours to press their point of view on Government. Incidentally, he has no personal financial interest in the matter.
