The Chinese Communist Foreign Minister, Mr. Chou En-lai, said today that China would not stand idle "should imperialism wantonly in- vade the territory of its neighbour"—North Korea.
Chou made the statement in reviewing the past year of Chinese foreign relations at a Peking meeting commemorating the first anniver- sary of the Chinese Red regime. He said the Chinese people were watching_closely.
