GERMAN LEADERS WANT INCREASE IN OCCUPATION FORCE

Both the West German Chancellor, Dr. Konrad Adenauer, and the Soci- alist Opposition leader, Dr. Kurt Schumacher, today agreed that only a spoedy increase in American occupation forces in Gormany could decisively strengthen Western European dofonces.

They both sald that a remilitarisation of Germany or the raising of a stronger police force alone would not solve the German security.pro- blem.
