The Prime Minister, Clement Attlov, tonight rojected Opposition de- mands for an early recall of Parliament to discuss Britain's defenco plans.
After a 90 minute meeting with the Conservative leader, Mr. Winston Churchill, and the Liberal leader, Mr. Clement Davies, at No. 10 Downing Street this evening, Mr. Attlee announced that' Parliament would be recalled on September 12, the date originally fixed by the Cabinet.
The Foreign Secretary, Mr. Ernest Bevin, was with Mr. Attloo during the talks with Mr. Churchill and Mr. Dovics. The deputy Opposition' loader Mr. Anthony Eden, wartime Foreign Secretary, also attended.
