Rubber factory workers refuse to draw their pay
Of the 1,500 workers of the Fung Keong Rubbor Factory who have become jobless through the Factory closing down fast Wednesday, only between 50 and 60 drew their pay on Satur day.
The leaders of the Rubber Workers' Union was of the opinion that the workers should not drow the amount due to them until the whole matter had been settled as they claimed that the management of the factory had taken them by surprise in closing down without due notice..
