ARMY SOCCER XI RETURNING AFTER TOUR OF MALAYA
The Hong Kong Army Soccer XI, mada up of players from both Hong Kong Land Forces and from 40 Infantry Division, returns tomorrow after a tour of Malaya.
They come away with an even record in the six of- ficial matchas played-two won, two drawn and two lost.
Although the tour ended in on equal number of wins, losses and draws, the Hong Kong Army XI enjoyed a success in reputation-building with their clean, accurato play and good team- work, points which were immediately appre- ciated by the sportswriters and opposing teams in Malaya.
The Hong Kong Army-play- ers made themselves extremely popular in Mulaya and return to Hong Kong with a fine re- cord for sportsmanship.
An unfortunate feldent marred the rst phase of the journey. W. O. 11 Tennucci, the skipper of the town and centre-half, in-!
red his wrist in Saigon, Indo- thina, and has to drop out.
The captaincy was taken over ly the left-back, the only officer in the team-Captain Alex Woods, HAPU.

Sir Arthur Morse will act as Chairman of the meeting.
