British action film coming to Roxy
Rating:
A British action picture that could give its Amori. can counterpart a good run for its money is coming to the Roxy Theatre on Sunday. It is "Diamond City," an Eagle-Lion_production starring David Farrar and Diana Dors. "Diamond City" possesses a plausible and strong plot and produces some excellent acting on the part of Mr. Farrar.
The scene is Hopetown, South Africa, in the 1870's, and thou- sands of diggers search vninly for new diamond finds. Among them: аге Stafford Parker (David Farrar), agent to native chief Jan Bloem, and Muller (Nail Mac- Ginnis) trader.
