Israel Urges U.N. To Abandon Control Plan For Jerusalem
Lage Success, November 29. Israel today urged the United Nations to abandon the plan for international control over thà whole of Jerusalem and to confine itself to agreed meaturas for the protection of holy places. Mr. Aubrey Eban, the Israeli delegate, told the Special Political Committee that the dilemma which, it now faces could be solved only by abandoning the entire structure of the plan advanced by the Conciliation Commission and defining the purposes and the obligations of the protection and defence of religious Inter-
ests.
Earlier, Mr. Rouney W. Dojany, of Saudi Arabia, bad warned the Committee against the post- ponement of

But its policy in mak- ing loans is that conditions must be such to to make repayment prospects good. There- fore, it takes into account possible economic consequences of political unrest.
