A joint Parliamentary Committee today approved the final draft of a Bill ̈ providing for a rei ferendum on King Leopold's return to the throne.
If the Bill goes through Parliament, every Belgian`
over 21-except serving members of the armed forces will be called upon to take part in a nation-wide plebiscite to say whe- ther they want provisionally exiled King Leopold to return to the throne or whether they prefer that he should abdicate in favour of Prince Bajdouin, his 19-year-old son and heir.
