(By "RAPIER"}
Despite the tremendous efforts that have been made in the past few,
months by the Engineers responsible for the erection of the Totalisa-. tor to have the system ready for operation at the Trial Meeting to- day, the final test has not proved to be entirely satisfactory.
It has therefore been decided to run the Trial Meeting on the old Pari- Mutuel system, except that Dividends and Results will be exhibited on the Totalisator Dividend and Result Boards, also Dividends, Win or Place, of any denomination, will be paid out at any position in the Pay-Out Booths.
