Rocky Graziano Scores TKO Over Fusari In 10th Round
New York, September 14.
The former middleweight champion, Rocky Graziano, smashed his way back into the "big time" tonight by scoring a technical knockout over welterweight Charlie Fusari at 2:04 of the 10th round before 30,000 fans in the Polo Ground.
Graziano, making his first appearance in a New York ring in three years, surprised everyone by remaining on his feet for the whole bruising battle and by outboxing his lighter and faster opponent before final- ly battering him into helplessness.

Soccer Players Asking For Too Much
Strike!

(By W. CAPEL KIRBY)
Have a real showdown! Do anything, but for goodness sake stop_fiddling! That's the feeling in Soccer board-rooms today, and frankly I think it's the only way the play- ers can get down to real business as a pre- liminary step towards ridding the game of scandalous and ever-increasing demands for illegal payments.
If our Soccer rulers still persist in saying they have no knowledge of irregularities, then they're going about with their ears and eyes shut.
