Five Maersk Ships In Port
The Maersk Line achieved record in local port opera- tions when it had five of its ships calling hure yesterday.
The five modern vessels include three newly-constructed ships— the ms, Anna Maersk, which ar- rived from Japan and left for Manila, the and, Olga Mnorsk, which came from America on her maiden voyage, and the ms. Fe- ler Maersk, whah made her debut in local waters in July.
Another new ship Is the Herta Maersk, which arrived here for the first time yesterday. She is a 6,000-ton motorship, launch- ed by the Germans in Denmark during the war but inter convert- ed and completed by her, present; owners.
The ms. Chastine Maersk ar- rived from Japan with a big load of rallway wagons and material for the Siamese Rallways, to be discharged at Bangkok,
The Arnold Macrsk, jarriving from Manila, left port for the Atlantic ports to resume her monthly anlling to America. She is one of the two monthly sall- ings of the Maersk Line on the America route.
