Catholic Vicars Protest Action

Prague, August 13. Roman Catholic vicars in Hradec Kralove diocese, Eastern Bohemia, have protested to the local Communist County Committee against alleged unconstitutional actions, an authoritativa Church source disclosed today.
News of the protest came as Roman Catholics in Slovakia were expected to assemble in a great gathering tomorrow at Trnava, near Bratislava, for the consecration of two new Bishops ap- pointed by Rome without consulting the Czech Government.
