Republican and Federal Indonesian representativas met here today to lay the foundations of an Indonesian United States, at the first session of the inter-Indonesian conference. The conference, intended to bridge the gulf between Federalists and Republicans before the Hague round-table talks, with the Dutch, met in the shadow of guerilla warfare still raging in parts of Java and Sumatra.
