This vessel is beached on the Western shore of Victoria Harbour with the main deck showing 10 feet above high water mean tides. Vessel lies in sheltered water and should produce suitable scrap approximately 2,000 tons.

There is about 500 tons of miscellaneous scrap main- ly vehicle chassis stacked near Liberty Wharf in Victoria Harbour.

2. Tenders will not be considered for any individual item but should include all items mentioned above.

3. The successful purchaser will be required to remove all items mentioned in paras. (ii) and (ii) above within six months from the date of entering into the contract and such contract will contain penalties in default of compliance with time limits.

4. The Government of the Colony accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of these details and intending purchasers may obtain independent inspection at Labuan.

5. Tenders should be sent under sealed cover plainly mark- ed "Teader for Wrecks and Scrap Labuan" and must be ad- dressed to The Government Tenders Board, Labuan, North Borneo, so us to arrive not later than 15th September, 1949.
