The Chinese Government today replied to the British note pro- testing against the Nationalist blockade of Communist-hold Chinese coast ports.
A British Foreign Office spokesman said the note was delivered from the Chinese Foreign Office through the British Consul-General, A. P. Coghill, in Canton..
He declined to reveal the contents of the note, but it is understood that the Nationalists show no sign of backing' down from thoir plan to closo China's vital seaports.
