Armed with this ignorance of past events, Mark Twain's story infolds itself on the screen as a fairly enjoyable,, though some- what far fetched fantasy.

is an over-abundance of slapstick present, which is understandable; after all, Bing Crosby and WH- lian Bendix aren't exactly the prototypes of cane and respectable people when it comes to standing in front of a camera.
The pictures definitely not one of Bing's best. In fact, the Gronner sadly disappointing. and the movie-goer will find him- self longingly looking around for that other member of the usual two-man comedy team, Bob Hope. The songs, too, are not up to the usual Crosby standard.
