William Henry Cowie, ex-Sub-Inspector of Police, who was dismissed on August 25, 1947, following allegations of his having received the bribe from one Chan Yu-tong, is suing the Government for the sum totalling HK$6,976 by virtue of wrongful dismissal without notice and in breach of contract.
