One of the six gun pits dug during the night.
Tomorrow is the thirty-fourth ̧. anniversary of the battle of Le Cateņu. It is a great day for the 93rd Field Battery R.A, at Gun Club Hill Bar- racks.
During the battle the Battery, which was then called 37th Battery, Royal Field Artillery, was awarded three Victoria Crosses in one day.
The battery will celebrate this feat by having a dinner and enter- tainment this evening, and the whole of the 25th Field Regiment, R.A. will have a holiday tomorrow.
