STUBBS RD. HOLD-UP OF BUS

A Stanley-bound motor bus was held up shortly before 9 o'clock last night near Wong nelchung Gap by five of the passengers, three armed with revolvers, who successfully got away with loot estimated at about $1,000.

Early returns on the Chamber of Deputies indicat- ed a similar crushing defeat for the Commun- ists. The returns raised the possibility that .anti-Communists had been given undisputed control over both Houses of the new Parlia- ment.
