The British invitation to mem- bers of the Dutch Parliament to visit Britain in May is part of the Inter-Parliamentary Union's policy of fostering friendship between Parliaments all over the world in the interest of peace.

The invitation, addressed to the Presidents of the two Chambern of the States General and 10 to 12 members, has already been ac- cepted "with much pleasure" by the first Chamber.
