Yesterday's senior shield final between Sing Tao (holders) and Eastern was very keenly con- tested. Sing Tao were lucky to win by the only goal of the game, scored from a penalty in the opening minutes of the game. Eastern fully extended Sing Tao and had they been steadier in front of goal would have won. As it was, they had more of the game and several good scoring chances were missed. Sing Tho played one of their work games for a long time. Thele sal trong intermediate line was hadly off farm and gave little assistance their attack as they were fully oc cupied in defence.
