Indian Princes Get Together

New Delhi, Dec. 10. Representatives of 16 of In- dia's 550 princely states an- nounced today that they had decided to establish a "Com- mittee of Privileges" to handle dynastic and allied matters of the various ruling houses with the Government of India.

It is the first attempt in Free India to gather the notoriously jealous Rajahs in an organisa- tion to handle their affairs with the Dominion representatives as did the Chamber of Princes with the British Raj.

The

Maharajah of Bikaner

is to head the Committée. He

is expected to canvass other major Princes before the next meeting January 7-Associat- td Press.
